Funny cartoon. But why do we think that A&M had anything to do with Rhoades taking a leave? Surely you don't think because a few Aggies feel disrespected by the CFP rank that this is some consequence.

My paternal grandfather was Class of '25. In one of his yearbooks (called The Longhorn), there is a photograph of a mule, and painted on the side of it are the words THE ASS WE MADE OF BAYLOR.
We've not liked them for a while.
EDIT - My sister has those yearbooks in Texas. If I had them, I could scan the picture.

Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yurachek has been nominated as the new CFP committee chair, while Utah athletic director Mark Harlan has been nominated to replace Rhoades on the committee, a source told ESPN. The CFP management committee, which is made up of the 10 FBS commissioners and Notre Dame athletic director Pete Bevacqua, has to approve both moves.

Also, I'm seeing chatter on Reddit (I know) that this is unrelated to the incident with the player and assistant coach. Can't find details yet, but people are guessing substance abuse. All just rumors at this point, and time will tell.
