Maroon dusk on Darrell K RoyalTexas Memorial Stadium
where banners crackle, drums mush longwhorn brains.
A sea of maroon, a fevered tide,
the Aggie spirit roaring wide.

The signal fires, bright and bold,
ignite the tale that's just been told.
A countdown hums in steady drums,
the crowd leaning in as greatness comes. Longhorns flee their tainted field.
From the line to spiraling flight,
the passes carve the southern night.
The rush, a furnace fed by faith,
streams through the gaps where routes are wraith. Aggie defense shines.

The Aggie defense hammers like a drum,
