I wish I had the optimism so many have right now.
but my BAS is unfortunately alive and well.
so many games over the nearly 40 years of me following Aggie football , 26 of those as a season ticket holder.
Big game letdowns, bowl letdows, ect ect
was in the stands for all these games... Cotton Bowl losses in the early 1990's, Colorado 1995, Big 12 title game in 1997, Kickoff classic and Sugar Bowl in 1998, Lubbock in 1999, beatdown in Lincoln in 1999, beatdown in Norman in 1999, Lavar Arrington Show in the Alamo Bowl , South Bend in 2000, Snow Bowl , beatdowns in Austin in 1996, 2000, 2004,,heartbreak in 1998, ...Mike Leach ERA at Tech vs Ags...77-0 in Norman, Baylor 2004, Cotton Bowl vs Tennessee, Clemson 2005, Iowa State day at Kyle field with special guest Todd Blythe, back to back 1 point home losses in 2006 to kill a divison title chance, Miami at the Orange Bowl, Arkansas State, Kansas State 2009 beatdown, Georgia in Shreveport, LSU Cotton Bowl, Texas in 2011, ...now seen plenty of good moments.
I was in stands at TWA Dome when Ags beat KState for '98 Big 12 title. Seen some lower tier bowl wins (not many lol)
after 2014 with the stadium rennovation we dropped season tickets and I quit going to all road games. Been to a few roadies since..lets see,,UCLA at Rose Bowl in 2017, LSU last second come from behind win in 2021, Bama in 2022, ..yep I sure can pick em
Im just waiting for actual change, yes I know this year has been different but again ive been around Aggie football (and baseball) for nearly 40 years.
Yeah I was also in stands for LSU DH sweep in 1989 at Olsen
I know as soon as I believe it will all come crashing down.
It wasnt Frantastic with Fran, we didnt do anything about teams " getting their licks in "
We Never Ran the State and ...it was like it used to be
nothing changes!!!
Heart wants to to say Ags 38, Texas 20
BAS in me says Texas 29, Ags 21
