That had just crossed my mind. At some point he had this planned out and has done everything in his power to sack Ole Miss and knowingly plunder the program in his own interest. Will be very very interesting to see if he did anything sloppily and while still acting in his HC position at Ole Miss


Would be interesting. Again, he's been planning this for weeks. He's on camera stating so during the egg bowl.

Thats what im talking about. Making kiffen so toxic along with the staff, or anyone who considers coaching with him toxic they have to second guess their careers.

This is 1000x worse. The rumors are that Kiffin wants to continue to coach Ole Miss in the playoffs and is threatening to loot the staff and players if he doesn't get his way. Keep in mind. His primary job now is recruiting for rival LSU and he's probably going to loot the staff and roster anyway.

If Lane was a man if integrity, he would have stayed at Ole Miss. If Lane had any integrity he would have told Ole Miss last week, im going to LSU, after I coach this team as far as I can into the playoffs.

Lane has zero integrity. I truly believe Lane wants another shot at the NFL, and Lane thinks being swamp kitties head coach might just do the trick. Problem is, No NFL team wants that headache. So Lane is just whoring himself around to the highest bidder.

The amount of hatred from Ole Miss fans is to be predicted.

However, it does seem that ALL of the sports world is disgusted and put off by what Lane Kiffin has done.

Always has been this way but he managed to make himself the most hated person in sports right now after spending years to fix his image.

I have enjoyed the whining and cognitive dissonance from ESPN, et al on this. Crying about the current situation & system they helped create. "It's not fair to these coaches & players, transfer portal windows, wait until after the season, blah, blah, blah".

These *******s have helped turn college football into the madhouse it is. These "student-athletes" (always funny to type that for 1/2 of the players) still have to put up a facade of enrolling and "attending & progressing" in class. I guess universities should move their semester/quarter schedules to start in March so ESPN can add another round to the CFP.

I have no issues that he is leaving. It's how he is doing it. He's done this every place he has been at. Act like he's doing the right thing and cares about the team by staying around after his mind is made up. He's selfish and honestly doesn't even know it.

In his mind he truly thinks he is the victim. That's the f'ed up part.

ESPN agreement with WWE makes a lot more sense now. That's what they want College football to be.

Good idea but the agents won't go for it. They'll just find another school who will agree to not have that kind of language in the contract.

You're probably right, but some schools should try it and talk about the moral high ground and say, "hey if a coach can't even agree to finish the season they're currently in, we don't want that coach anyway."

I doubt it would ever happen, but Ole Miss's AD or President should give a speech directed specifically at LSU saying, "Remember how this day feels in 3-5 years when you're in our shoes, you're having a great year, and suddenly the job that's bigger than yours opens up and he gets happy feet."


Guys: that clause IS in Kiffin's contract. He can not accept employment with another school -- before, during, or after the season. It doesn't matter. It is a direct, for cause, breach.
