- The big picture for me, the negative... It may substantiate that A&M is not a normal 11-1 team. There is a narrative around A&M beating only teams in the bottom of the conference. That’s not to say Texas is not a good team. They are better than they were against Mississippi State. They simply beat us. No argument there. They won the line of scrimmage. Arch Manning out-quarterback’d us in the second half.
