Heck I was surprised we were able to hire him from K-State. Good for Collin, assuming he is going to finish out the season with us, so he will be available for KSU duties on 1/20.

We also have Tony Jerrod Eddie, neither of which have been an OC or called plays before.

Wiggins has the Co-OC title so we can pay him more, but unless I am wrong he has never been an OC or called plays.

If Klein doesn't stay through the end of the season that is a detriment to us.

We're past signing day, so my guess is he stays.

He will work to build his staff while game planning, but he'll still be a net positive for us.

There isn't nearly as much urgency for him to get immediately to KSU right now, IMO.

K-State fans were really mad, like irate when Klein left their OC job and took the A&M OC job. They should be thankful now that Klein got 2 years to learn from Elko schematically and how to be a great CEO of a program.

Nah, his contract still has post season incentives. He can get a nice payout if he does his job correctly

"Klein, who is in his second season as Texas A&M's offensive coordinator, will be introduced Friday afternoon at Kansas State. He is expected to remain with No. 7 Texas A&M through the upcoming College Football Playoff."

Looks like he's staying for the playoffs, but who really knows. The good thing is, he's leaving for a HC job at his alma mater, so it's hard for players to hold it against him, he won't have to fight with that. It's certainly a distraction, but it doesn't have to be a problem
