Alright, first off, these are NOT mine. We found these two babies wandering down the middle of the street about to become road pancakes. Mom picked them up and we are trying to wait and see if an owner starts to put out signs looking(we intend to do the same on Friday). I think these puppies are the result of a dump or a stray litter. If the owner does not manifest in a couple of weeks I have to get rid of them, Mom can't keep a 5th and 6th dog(we like doge here in case you didn't notice).


They are two female pups, estimated at 6-8 weeks old. Looking at paws we're estimating 25-35# at full growth(just a guess, call it "medium" size). One is a light tan with black nose, the other is almost pure white with a few little tan spots. I personally think they may have some kind of hound in them at first look(little tan gip keeps her nose down some to), but I have NO idea.

Both puppies are as sweet as can be, the little white one fell asleep in my arms earlier. They may have been inside a building or home at one point, they where quite determined to get in my house this morning. I think, with the personality the dogs are displaying, they would make a good puppy to start a child out with(I don't see any bully to them, but I'm not sure....).

Again, If the owners manifest the dogs will be returned to them, we're not thieves, only trying to avoid puppy-pancakes. If they do not soon I intend to try to find the dogs a home so the pound doesn't have two new ones. I DO NOT want that, but I can't keep the animals.

If you would be interested, they are located in SETexas, and I will be in College Station in two weeks and would be very happy to bring them then. I would also meet out of town folks on I-10 so you didn't have to come all the way out to the house.

Please help me find them a good home, I really dread taking a very good pair of pups to the pound...

Still no sin of anyone looking, at all, so I'm thinking they're dumps. The have fleas and had a couple of ticks(working on flea issue, can't hit them with to much this young and unknown history...).


Both are very skittish in the house, but they where happy being held. Tan one sat on mom in the "regal" pose, with one tried to play parrot while cleaning moms face. White one does have some very light tan flecks in her coat btw.

That first pup looks fantastic and the second one is not bad either! Hope you find these guys a home soon. We're full right now (strays and adoptions of course) but I'm sure some good hearted Aggie will pick'em up from ya!

The second puppy looks like our puppy we adopted from the spca. We think she is a black mouth curr. She's 1 yr and 50 lbs. Good size. Both are cute, I'm sure if the owners don't come forth then someone will snatch them up! Kudos for rescuing them!

It looks like I'm going to have a war over who wants them . The black/tan one trying to get my 40# spaniel mix to wrestle it is hilarious I might add.

If I lived in Texas I would take the first one.

Have you found homes for both of them yet?

I second Lauren's suggestion about the capstar pill. Those things are greatness.

Why did they back out? I will be in Texas next week but my current dog would feel betrayed if we added to our family.

Unfortunately I think they're going to Brazos valley animal shelter tomorrow if I can't find them a home or interested party. They need parvo shots etc, and I'm really broke at the moment. They're young enough I think someone will take them

Ok guys, unfortunately the time has come.

we'll have the tan baby until noon tomorrow. After that she will got to BVAS. I wish I didn't have to, this one has me firmly in love with her, but I cannot keep another one.

She's sitting in my roommates floor playing with his sock at the moment. She has one of the best personalities in a pup I've seen...

If someone can take her(I know one couple came and saw her), I'd sure appreciate it.

A gentleman from this forum has her now(I don't remember Jeremy's Username....). If he chooses not to keep her we are going to continue to try and place her. I know I refered another gentleman to him today who wanted her as well.


Thank you texags, for helping me on this. It was killing us(and I'm not sure we could have done it) to have to bring her to a shelter. I KNOW that they are both in loving homes now, and safe.
