Selling this for my best friend.

Original owner. The has a 5.7L I-Force engine. 289,000 miles. Crewmax, navigation. Oil was changed every 5k miles with synthetic oil. Have records of oil changes. Miles primarily highway as he traveled between Wharton and Temple weekly. Has WeatherTech mats, leather interior, body has a few blemishes and windshield could be replaced. He's listed it on FB for $14k but will sell to an Aggie for $12k (2 of his kids went to A&M). He is a meticulous guy and will happily tell you everything about this truck. Selling because he bought a new one.

I think it's too high for the miles but I hope he gets it because it bodes well for my 2007 with 260,000 that I need to sell soon.

Thanks for the comments. I thought the miles might be the issue. I will say that only having synthetic oil really helps the longevity of the engine/truck.

I would never spend this kind of money on a vehicle with almost 300k miles; however, if there is a vehicle to command a higher price with that many miles - it's this generation of Tundra with the 5.7. It really is a great motor.

I sold a similar tundra with 206k to Carmax for 16k a few years back. It was 7 years old and a 4x4 but new prices have also gone up since then. Imo 12-14k for this truck should be an easy sell on FB marketplace today.

Good looking truck and the price doesn't seem that high.

I sold my 2012 2x4 Tundra SR5 w/ 275K miles 2 years ago for $10K cash to some hombres in my work parking lot as the sun set. Actually, they pulled out the stack of cash and I told them to meet me at the bank in the morning.

Still miss the truck.

Smart man. That's the main reason I haven't sold my Harley. Getting robbed at gunpoint would ruin my day.
