My son is looking for a new to him truck. He has settled on an F150 with the 5.0 in it. His budget is 14k or less. Would prefer 4 door but an extended cab would work. Must have the 5.0 and must be 4x4. Any leads or help would be great. Have been looking on Facebook, but as you can imagine it is everything you think it would be an worse. Located in Wharton County but willing to travel for the right deal.

Thanks

Currently in a 2014 XLT. Red, 6.5ft bed, 4x4, 5.0... 4door... Alpine head unit replacement with 8in screen and Android/CarPlay compatible
single owner, all maintenance records

One issue. And this is likely a deal killer for you, but I'm not going to hide it from an Ag.
She's sipping coolant. I had a burnt valve in November 2023. I let the shop that diagnosed it do the head job. In hindsight the diagnosis was correct, but the fix was over their head competency wise. Now she's leaking (slowly) on both heads. The repair is most likely new heads by a competent engine rebuilder, but for all I know they didn't torque the damn things properly.

Was looking to trade it in this year or early next...
