1968 Ford Mustang, 200 inline 6, automatic transmission, power steering. Factory royal maroon color.

I was lucky to purchase this car early this year from another fine Aggie. I intended to hang onto this one forever, but kid's educations are more important than toys, so this beauty can now grace your world. Ive been driving this on up to 75 mile round trips since I bought it with zero issues.

The car runs, drives, shifts, and brakes fantastically. Turns a lot of heads, many compliments.

Original owner is previous owners grandfather. Originally had factory AC, fan system in cabin is still there and fully functional. Everything under the hood was removed previously. Replacement parts are readily available out of Fort Worth for $850 shipped to get AC back to original. Heater is also disconnected due to a leak.

Interior is in great condition overall. Reportedly garage kept for much or all of its life. Original dash in fantastic condition, all seats recovered recently. Carpet original so not terrible but seams are a little rough. I added nicer Mustang embossed rubber mats after taking these pics.

The only rust or damage underneath is the passenger side floor pan, likely due to said heater leak. Floor was repaired with an overlay at some point, but rusty pan was left in place. Tires have very little use, but are older and will likely need replacement soon. Previous owner replaced gas tank with a stainless tank recently.

Paint has chips and minor imperfections. Older repaint. Looks nearly perfect from 20' away. Overall, a gorgeous car.

For sale at $16,500. Bottom dollar to any Aggie $15,500. Car is near Ledbetter, TX.

Sweet.

I could "fall in" to the driver's seat but, due to age, I'd never be able to get out.

It's not bad at all. I'm old, hefty, and have a rickety back and have no problems getting in and out. It's so much easier than climbing out of my kid's 09 Mustang.

A pic of my herd. Sold the 66 not long after I bought this one.

My first car in high school was a standard transmission version of this exact beauty.

Good luck on the sale.

I played the lotto and lost.

This has been a dream car of mine since I was a kid. Loved the old mustangs. Would never want to hot rod them. Just want one to cruise the country roads in on a Sunday afternoon.
