Second half was much much better. Don't know why Jose wanted to completely bunker down in the first half. It's only Spuds.
Odd. I actually thought the last 25 minutes of the 1st half was their best stretch by far. After the 2nd goal, United put men behind the ball and countered.
The beginning of the 2nd half up to the 2nd goal was more of the United way. More control, more composure and more chances. I don't see why we can't play like that on a more consistent basis. After the second goal was squeeky bum time.
Looks like it's Chelsea in the final.

Frankly, Klopp and Liverpool are made for Europe. They proved it again today. They are borderline favorites in my opinion. Bayern could be tight enough defensively to hold them but Klopp knows how to beat Bayern. I'd rate that a pick'em. They'll beat Real if they played them in the final.
Assuming we don't falter in leg 2, I like our chances in a single game versus either Bayern or Real. That doesn't mean I think we're a favorite or a slam dunk to win, but I think we'll show up and do our thing. (It helps that our defense has been much improved as of late while the offense is still firing on all cylinders.)
Plus, I mean it would be so 2018 United to finish 2nd and potentially win their 2nd FA Cup in 3 years in arguably their best season since SAF only to watch City win the league by 5 miles and Liverpool add to the CL trophy collection.
