Fred must be gone gone gone if he can't get into a game that doesn't have Mata, Lingard or Matic available.

Now Alexis to replace Lingard. Not sure why he wasn't the first replacement, considering Jesse's injury
How can you bring on a guy like Lingard as a second sub in the first half as a big injury question mark? Tough to see if you guys will finish with 11.

Physios would've assessed and said what he's capable of. That's the way it should work anyway. I don't blame Ole if they said he can give you 60.
Lukaku and McTominay's touches are killing us.
We've been effectively playing with 10 men since about the 40th minute.
Half of me wants to sit back and hold out for a draw. The other half wants to crush these scouse *******s. Damn my inner dilemma!
We didn't play with 3 of our first choice top 6 and a 4th was playing one one leg. Once those 3 subs were made, a 0-0 draw or a fluke United goal were the only realistic positive results. We almost got the latter but I will 100% take the former.
Now let's hope at least some of these players aren't completely effed for the rest of the season. Already heard Matic is out for a month.

We outplayed them despite essentially being down a man. I'll say that Lindelof and Shaw both played great games, Lindelof in particular has really started to shine under Ole
Agreed. And Shaw completely shut down Salah. So much so that he was subbed off in a game that was screaming for Liverpool to dominate offensively.
Hats off to Shaw; he shut down his side and Salah. As mentioned earlier, he and Victor are really blossoming outside the sphere of Jose
Bad decision on Lingard. But after taking so many injuries to get the draw was a good outcome.

Fred had some good moments, played well overall I thought.
Sanchez had his best game of the season, looked dangerous and created chances.
Lukaku finally looked like the threat we know he can be, should have had another goal. Great game!

Good win on a day that Arsenal and Chelsea also won. Meanwhile the wheels appear to be falling off for Tottenham

Only unfortunate thing is everyone around us won as well. We're going to have to take this form through the rest of the season to get 4th.
One interesting point. Tottenham is suddenly only 5 points ahead of us with the NLD coming this weekend. I'd bet they get dragged into this battle for 4th before it's all said and done.

I definitely wasn't expecting Chelsea to take 3 pts from Spurs.
Spurs and Arsenal tying is a good result. Win today and jump Arsenal into 4th and only 3 points back of Spurs. Instead of 3 teams fighting for 1 spot it's now 4 teams for 2.
If we need an attacking sub today, it's likely going to be coming from a youngster from the reserve team.
Fast start, we have to put one of those away!
