A. Loved the kits on both sides

B. Loved that it for chippy between the young players...keeping the hate alive. Mexico blows. Never forget that.

C. Loved that we scored right after it got chippy. Very fitting.

D. Gotta figure out a midfield, and work on possession.

I'm watching this late...at first I actually don't think he was trying to go studs up there. I think he was trying to pull the ball back, and got run run into from our defender and ended up going over the top.
the part that makes me think he meant to do it, was the other leg comes through studs up as well. You dont just randomly do that when you get run over from behind

I'll also say this...having lots of talented midfielders that are all 23 and under, is nothing but a good thing. They will all push each other for playtime, and make each other better..and you arent as reliant on specific players being in form

I saw someone try to make the Miazga height thing into a commentary about how the USSF is obsessed with measurables instead of skill... and were quickly reminded that it was the Mexican federation who'd been ruling players out of their player pool due to stature recently.

The funny thing is Gonzales didn't even get off the bench in the match, supposedly due to injury.
