Destined to be 16th-17th in EPL and on the bubble of relegation although sitting 16 points clear.

Our worst season since 1974-75 when we finished 19th in the table (only not relegated by a single point and there were 22 teams so we were on the bubble). Prior to that was 1958-59 when we were 18th.

I've rarely even experienced a season that was not at least top 10 - started watching in 2001 and we have had only 2 finishes outside the top 10 - 11th and 14th - until this year.

One of our worst seasons ever.... and to think we still can qualify for Champions League. (although I'm not feeling too optimistic).
