Glad that season is behind us. Thinking about next season already; should we start a new thread for 25/26 season, or does this thread take us through the summer transfer window?

Who do y'all see leaving the club this summer? What are our biggest needs? Who do you think comes in?

Leaving for sure: Reguilon, Werner, Forster, Alfie Whiteman.

Maybe leaving: Bissouma, Richarison, Tel, Romero, Ben Davies (contract also expires this summer, but Spurs are likely to trigger a one-year extension)

I'm not counting any of the loan players we know are out, like Hojberg, Gil, Solomon.

No idea on who we may bring in. Edited to add I forgot about Luka Vuskovic is supposed to come in this summer.

I wish they'd clear up the manager uncertainty. I'm personally interested to see what Ange could do with another year.

I think the most logical path forward is to fire, then re-hire Ange in order to guarantee a trophy in 26-27.

They looked so bad in league that it is understandable if they want to part ways, but Levy & group should account for the injury situation and focus on Europe. Easy for everyone to laugh at 17th and say "almost got relegated", but there was never really any threat of relegation.

I think Ange's style will lead to more soft tissue injuries so he's not completely blameless on the injuries but this year was way worse than normal for him. They need a deeper squad.

I saw somewhere Levy said something along the lines of "the goal is to build sustained success" hinting a reshuffling might be in order. While consistently winning and competing for trophies should be the goal, firing the manager immediately after he brought you the first trophy in 17 years and 3rd/4th in 40 years would be a step in the wrong direction.

Now that the burden of a trophy has been lifted, I think sustained success could be had with Ange. But not without significant roster improvements. Dom needs to be scoring more goals. Is that an issue of service? We definitely need more quality depth. The drop off in quality from the preferred 11 to the back ups is too severe in a lot of areas. Any club not owned by a Middle East sovereign nation cannot realistically compete in all 4 competitions. So Ange / Spurs will again need to decide where to focus. I'd say EPL and FA cup.

Yeah I wouldn't focus on champions league next year. We wont be winning that. But take the money that comes with it and try to get up enough in EPL to qualify the following year.

We need to be back in top 5 consistently and use that and champions league to attract players. We gonna have to pay out to make that happen.

Take a stab at FA cup maybe as your second focus. When the top teams are focused on EPL and champions that makes that possible.
