I will go on record and say that Eric Bell would be my #1 target.
About a month till our first spring scrimmage against UIW… good thing we took their starting goalie so maybe we won't get embarrassed, but honestly who knows. Does anyone have any projections on who will start? Are our ACL's intact? I think maybe Taylor Jernigan may have a starting spot? Kennedy Clark as another forward? Emma Yolinsky if she's healthy? Leah Diaz from Tulsa, but can she compete with the physicality of sec defenders at 5'2. If Quinn Cornog is healthy, she can play in the middle, along with Kat Campbell and Leah Pirro, or Trinity Buchanan from UNLV. Backline, Bella James won't be ready for spring play as she tore her ACL mid season, freshman Tessa Arreola was a talented recruit, Hattie Patterson and Hayden Wilson transfers who played last year as freshman but for really bad teams. We got a few other transfer defenders, or will a freshman step up. Goalie we assume will be Sydney Fuller.
Anyone with more insight have any more info on what this team will look like? Will we win a conference game? Will we surprise people? Update on injuries? We know the head coach will say this is the most talented team he's ever had and he expects us to win it all, but I'm curious what you all think?

With the Spring schedule starting soon I think it would be good to start a new thread instead of continuing this one, originally focused on the head coach and hopefully a new head coach. Perhaps one dedicated to Spring schedule:

And knowing that some of you like individual threads for each match, game, etc. depending on the sport so maybe add an additional one for each match (note there are three 'doubleheaders' this Spring):

Personally, since there is not a huge amount of traffic for soccer, I think all could be under just the one 2025 Spring Aggie Soccer thread so we do not find posts under both each week but, as mentioned above, there is support for both methods.

Had Highland Park the other day. They had a player that stood out from the rest of the team #22. Can't remember her name. But I asked her if she was committed. Sometimes I ask the better players on the field if they're committed and they usually tell me the school off the bat, cuz they're proud. She said she was committed to Texas. I made a joke like "Oh, well you're not getting any calls from me. You should've picked A&M". She was quick with the comeback saying "Both my parents are Aggies. And my sister too. But have you seen them play lately? They're BAD!"

Wow, just saw this now. Won't even get to see Emma Yolinsky play at A&M. Just sad. Coach G just going down with the Titanic instead of doing the right thing and retiring before all this happened. He's had a good career at A&M, but his last few years have really hurt his legacy.

This is unsurprising to see. I fell in love with Aggie soccer during the historic 2014 run, and everything since has been a slow and painful death. Until a coaching/staff change, this is what I expect to see over and over.
