Texas A&M faces Lamar at Ellis Field on Sunday at 7:30.

Lamar is currently 0-1 after a 1-4 beatdown on Thursday night at Louisiana (ULA).

They were 5-8-6 last season and lost the 2024 season opener to A&M 0-5 in Beaumont.

This should be another good time beatdown and give us some energy as we continue through non-conference play.

This Lamar team finished last year 224th in all of division 1 soccer. They returned only 13 goals and most of their transfers in were from community colleges.

Texas A&M University is one of the highest funded soccer programs in the country, with the highest paid coach. Coach G might be paid more than Lamar's entire soccer budget. His salary is at least 6 times more than Lamar's head coach.

We are tied. We have one more shot than them. Less shots on goal. This is Aggie Soccer.

Lamar's head Coach, Nathan Kruger, is from College Station. And is one of Coach G's former assistant. He was one of the ace recruiter when he was here. He is an excellent coach and still recruits well being at Lamar.
