Texas A&M is back on the road to face another ranked conference opponent on Friday. The Aggies will be in Knoxville to face off against Tennessee, the #5 team in the country.

Tennessee is 8-1-1 on the season, with a 4-1 mark in conference play, with a perfect 4-0 record at home. That lone loss came at #15 Mississippi State by a score of 2-3. It waws the only game in which the Vols allowed multiple goals. In fact, they've completely shutout 8 of 10 opponents, outscoring them 25-4.

Their tie was a 0-0 final at #11 Memphis. The Vols also have ranked victories over #22 UNC (2-0) and #4 UCLA (1-0).

The Aggies face an uphill battle here against a home team that's plenty talented and plenty experienced.

The team has been competitive, however; the number of poor passes, poor dribbles, lost possession has been shocking. I don't know if better control and possession would make a difference in the scoring category because the teams ability to create real scoring chances is so poor.

There is some talent on this team and the players do work hard on the pitch. I do hope that they maintain their spirit and continue to battle.

Will just have to save the upset for the sips next week at Ellis !!!

what change are you expecting midseason. IMO they've played much better the last two matches. Play like that all year you don't have this record
