This is the first game I watched this year. Good win, but I can clearly see why we are in the position we are in the SEC.

If we were only going to win 1 game this SEC season, this was the one we had to win against Texas. Coach G wins his last game against our rival, a fitting send off considering the history between the schools in soccer. Congrats to the team and coaches, our first SEC win in a year. Coach G got emotional after the game, no doubt knowing it's probably his last feel good moment at A&M.

That is accurate. She has surgery this week. She was at the game tonight on crutches with a full leg brace. She was hurt in the 2nd half of the Arkansas game on Sept 21.

Thoughts and prayers for Lucy Landherr. She went down tonight with an apparent leg injury and was on crutches after the match.

The freshman has been playing really great soccer.

The quality of play has been night and day better the last three matches. Injuries are starting pile up with a young team just keep improving

#1 and #44 for Texas sure have some attitude, but are generally considered elite goal scorers. #44 was sec freshman of the year last year and #1 will definitely be on the all sec freshmen team this year. Solid defense holding those two to a single shot on goal. I know this team has taken a lot of criticism tho season, but 1.0 gaa average so far and only 3 goals against the last 4 SEC games (after a rough start to conference against Georgia). Really well done ladies and finally a finish to give us a goal.

Hoping Landherr's injury isn't serious. It would be another big loss for us as she has played great the last 3 games.

Good game from A&M. There was no doubt that the Aggies were the better team. Glad they broke through for a goal. Good to see the team celebrating with the trophy

Great win. G and the program deserved it. G has done a lot of great things for this program over the years and happy he got this win on his way out. Hopefully the team continues to build on this result and plays solid the rest of the year regardless of whether they make the tourney or not.
