The spring roster is posted now.

Excluding the graduating seniors and portal transfers Veronda and Rupe, only one other player from the fall roster isn't on the spring roster. With 25 on this roster plus 3 more freshmen starting in the summer, we are currently at 28 roster limit (until cuts are made and/or players leave on their own).

I wonder if we'll see many changes in 4 months, in or out

Just saw that one of the 2027 commits, Ava Sexton, reclassified to 2026. Feels like we need to add offense to this roster, but she is a defender. So roster at 29 with 4 freshmen this summer.

Haven't reviewed the new freshman positions, but from last season graduates and injuries, won't have Yakel, Lavender, Scranton. Not sure what Landherr's status is. So, seems like defense is needed because those injuries happened late in season. I think some of those injuries required surgeries…don't quote me on that tho.

My understanding is that Landher should be back for spring games and Scranton (ACL surgery) should be fully cleared before fall season starts. Wilson was out at the beginning of last season with an injury, but was able to play the last few games when others went down with injuries. We also have a couple of defenders who didn't play much or at all the last two seasons, including Goodwin and Torn.

She will be the only defender in the class of 26. The rest are all attackers.

I think Juliet Haras is also a defender in the class of 26.

Juliet Haras is a defender. And she is also a pretty good track athlete, expect her to have some pretty good speed on the backline

Aggies add Brynja Knudsen from Iceland. 18 year old midfielder. Can't find anything else, hopefully 12th Man gives us a write up soon

Pretty sure she is a midfielder. Think she is listed as both but primarily defensive mid.

played on the U19 team for Iceland and will do so again this spring

25 on the spring roster and now 5 joining in the summer. We are at 30 before any spring portal recruits, and I understand 2 more internationals were also visiting this past weekend. I am hoping to see a spring game, but I think the fall roster is going to look a lot different than what we see in any spring games.

I'm glad to see us try to bring in international players! With the late hire it was hard to pick up portal additions as many were committed to other schools while we were putting together a staff. I'm torn because yes it takes away from Americans, but every sport is using internationals. Our tennis team won a national championship with almost half the roster international players and our track team won last year thanks to international athletes as well. Many soccer teams in the SEC are using international players as well.

While you still build your team centered on high school recruits, you complement your roster with international talent. Especially a sport like soccer where players commit out of high school very early, international players are key to a quicker turnaround for a rebuild. Hopefully we can add a few more to round our roster for the 2026 season!
