I like lalas
Lalas, worst ever.
People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.
Lalas is just playing a role. Y'all take him too seriously.
Ibrahimavic, on the other hand, is a bore and has no charisma. The guy is inarticulate and incoherent most of the time.

I do enjoy Zlatan referring to Lalas as 'Alexis' while standing right next to him, though.
I like Zava better.
Zlatan is having to play it straight on the broadcast. He's much better when he's free to be Zlatan. Things like talking about himself in the 3rd person. His commercial spots are much better.
Role or not he's horrible. You can tell the other three can't stand him.
I feel bad for Rebecca and Henry. Henry goes from the A team of Kate, Micah, and Jamie to having to listen to Lalas and then robotic Zlatan. Oof!

Rebecca is A+ in her role.
Henry is an A.
Lalas is B+ (I don't mind him)
Zlatan is C-
The other three have much more TV experience than Zlatan from what I know, so perhaps he could improve, but right now he's not good. That's even considering English is not his first language, but that doesn't hold back Henry IMO.

Lalas is awesome. I don't understand the hate. His podcast is fantastic, and the brainiacs behind Fox's soccer coverage, David Mosse, is its co-host.

Henry got better with time. His first season on CBS doing Champions League was pretty bad, but now I really like him on that show and here.
Zlatan could get better, but he reminds me of that first Henry season… slow to respond, never seems settled, etc.

Wait a damn minute…is the question Alexi Lalas or freaking Gary Danielson? Is this a serious question? Gary Danielson is retired and still has trouble swallowing food cause he has Nick Saban's balls permanently lodged in his throat. There's no way this is a serious question. Lalas ain't that bad.

Tim Howard works for NBC / Peacock, not Fox.

I enjoy Rebecca Lowe, but Kate Abdo starts a fire in my loins and gives me heart eyes. OMFG she's hot. and then when she starts speaking in Spanish or French..... makes me crazy

And Titi works for CBS. Most sports commentator gigs are contract and not exclusive (broadly speaking).
Based on Roger Bennett's World Cup book, it sounds the World Cup broadcasting schedule is brutal. Considering Tim Howard has Tourette's, and symptoms get worse with stress, I'd bet he coke that he was approached at some point, but he's self-aware and humble enough to not bother trying.
And it also means he can say whatever he wants on his own platform.

He's french. It's how they all act. It's a natural look of surrender.
Not even kidding, if Lalas is on the e volume goes off.
His views are always the same: simplistic, contrarian, and passed with 1000 percent certainty that he's right and everyone else is wrong.
I actually don't mind Danielson, for all his flaws he really knows the game, and provides solid insight.

He's still doing some of that but he's no longer having to balance Micah Richards.
