I mean they're our closest rivals in the sport. No different than not rooting for A&Ms rivals in competitions. Mexico historically and Canada recently because they've become insanely arrogant since Marsch arrived.

Don't you mean since they "won" the hex in 2022 qualifying and it later turned out they were spying on practices.

Only Mexican soccer, don't think about Canada at all. Mexican fans have earned the scorn - they are one of the worst fan bases in all of sports. Between hurling bags of piss as opposing players and shouting a homophobic slur when opposing keepers kick the ball, there is absolutely no reason to pull for that team.
