How are we this many interviews in and they haven't acknowledged Halli going down?! **** okc
Would you rate Caruso over Khris Middleton or Deandre Jordan?94chem said:
AC and Acie. Two all-time greats. The best NBA player we've ever produced, and the best college player, both getting rings. I know most of us were for the underdog Pacers, but this isn't a bad deal.
Caruso is a bit of a king maker, isn't he?

As an Aggie or as an Aggie player or as an NBA player?
DJ is the only All-NBA player of the group but only 1 and done at A&M. Khris was 3x AS and top 3 player on title team.
Caruso had the most interesting career as an Aggie. Did you know he was a ball boy?
As a pro? No. It's not even close. Don't get me wrong. I love Caruso, but he hasn't had the career that Jordan or Middleton have had. Stats don't tell everything, but they tell a lot. DJ's time with "Lob City" was huge. His personal stretch from 2013-2020 was much bigger and more impactful than what Caruso has done so far.double aught said:Would you rate Caruso over Khris Middleton or Deandre Jordan?94chem said:

Should we put an asterisk on the Pacers run through the east because they played benefitted SO much from injuries to get there?zgolfz85 said:

Jordan
Middleton
Short of completely becoming a new player with a much higher usage, there's nothing Caruso can do to be in the Middleton conversation. They're not playing the game with remotely similar responsibilities.94chem said:NoahAg said:As a pro? No. It's not even close. Don't get me wrong. Jordan
Middleton
Maybe not right now, but AC is a 2 time all defensive player, and has an $81M deal that will take him through 2029. I'm projecting, as is OKC, and it will be a fair argument if he lives up to that contract and wins a 3rd title along the way.
Man. Don’t know how to explain it other than shock. Words cannot express the pain of this letdown. The frustration is unfathomable. I’ve worked my whole life to get to this moment and this is how it ends? Makes no sense.

His prior Tweet right before this one has to be one of the most unfortunate posts for a sneaker company ever.

Not to pile on, but winning rings is not the same for everyone. Yes, Caruso has "won" 2 rings. He happened to be on the Lakers when they won. He truly did contribute to the Thunder's title. D. Jordan was a bigger part of the Nuggets' championship than Caruso w/ the Lakers. No one (seriously) will say that Robert Horry was better than Barkley or Malone b/c he was on 7 championship teams.
Middleton was a vital part of the Bucks' title, and was a cornerstone of the team for 10+ years, and a 3 time all star. Jordan was 3 time all NBA. Caruso is closer to the end of his career, and I don't see him being an all star in his remaining years.

OKC's title deserves an asterisk.
