To be fair, the low pitch count tonight was mainly because we gave him about two innings back on the bases.

IF Peña is out for a bit again, that makes the Correa move that much more impactful. This loss was ugly, but this is baseball. You have feel good games, and you have ugly games. This team has given me 8 years of evidence to make me believe they will find a way to win in the end. I'll take the occasional ugly loss (that most teams experiences constantly), because I know they won't disappoint me in the end.

I didn't mean that to sound like I'm blaming Carlos for the loss... Is just a side effect of being aggressive.

I just hope he can DH. 1 set of ABs in Florida and 2 AAA games. This was a fast rehab.
