Why is Chas in the lineup

They really want to give Cam a break. His body is wearing down.

We're going to score so many runs that the game takes 5 hours and he hits a homerun in the 9th to secure the 23-0 win

Can we repeat our Jeter Day performance on Old Timer Day? That would be amazing!

I don't hate the guy, I agree he's been one of the most consistent in the league and I love it, it just seems when he has a bad outing it's real bad and it's often self inflicted. Probably came across a little harsh and that's on me

A win today would be huge for the team, huge for Framber, and absolutely crushing for the already spiraling Jankees.

Really need Framber to be the ace he is today…none of that mental midget bull****

Framber's 11-5 with a 2.83 ERA. 3rd in the majors in wins, 8th in ERA. I don't get it.

Why does everyone hate this guy so much?

Dude it's absolutely insane to me. He leads (or is very close to leading) the MLB in quality starts over the last several years too.

The hate for Framber is one of the strangest things I see online.

I don't hate him at all. I wish there were a way to resign him.

But let's be honest. The hole in his game is between his ears. I actually think sub has a similar hole and we saw it yesterday.

They both are prone to letting a bad call get in their heads. Look at last night. One bad ball/strike call went against HB at an important part of the game. You could see it in his face. Diaz and CC both knew it immediately and tried to talk to him and it didn't work. Next thing you know he was unraveling and the hits started and it led to 2 runs.

Framber had gotten better at it but he's still prone to it. A bad ball/strike call at the important wrong time and he starts grinning like "here we go. It's happening again". And the rockslide starts going downhill and he can't get out of the way.

He's gotten better at it. I think he's cut back on those issues about 50%. But it still happens.

They both need to learn to let this stuff go. Use it to your mental advantage and bear down

And everyone needs to remember. The Yankees are now fighting for their lives. A loss today and an Indians win and da Janks are out of the WC.

If the hole in his game is something that effects him rarely enough to be among the best in the league, I don't get why that hole is mentioned as often as it is. That's where I'm coming from.

There's far more mentions of his rare bad outings than his really good ones.

I think it's the (fan) expectations of being the Ace. He's been comparable to Cole over the course of his time with the Yanks (since 2020) according to BWar and a few wins better by Fangraphs.

If he could learn to get over it completely he might go from "one of the best" to "the best" LHP in MLB right now. That wouldn't be bad.

His stuff when he is on is filthy. His delivery is easy anf I think may keep him healthier than most.

He's really worked on his defense and I applaud him for that. It's helped him.

He needs to learn to hold runners on. No LHP should be giving up steals at will by average runners. And he does.

But I agree with you. He takes a lot of grief for little stuff and doesn't get applauded enough for the massive amounts of good stuff he does.

The problem is he rarely has a mental breakdown now and when he doesn't have the best game, it's attributed to a mental meltdown because fans are holding on to a narrative from his first and second seasons. It's a bull**** narrative that fans need to let go of but can't.

He's a damn consistent ACE and he is on way more often than not. He's also proved when he doesn't have his best stuff at the beginning he can find a way to go 6 or 7, which is a hell if a lot of mental strength. He's way more mentally tough than the fans give him credit for. He hasn't really failed in the most pressure packed moments either, which again, proves his mental strength.

In short, fans are holding on to a bull**** narrative from 2020 and 2021 and he's way more mentally strong than people give him credit for.

He's a boss and I love watching him pitch.
