To be clear, I don't think Carlos Correa has healed Christian Walker's baseball skills, I just think Walker is no longer the sole veteran being relied on to produce runs en masse anymore and the reduction of that mental pressure has him more relaxed. If Yordan hadn't gotten hurt and had even a 75% vintage Yordan season, I'm sure Walker would be having a much better year.
I think with Tucker & Bregman gone, Yordan hurt, and Paredes - the other new guy - just mashing right away, Walker was trying to do too much and hit everything out of the ballpark. It's the classic Catch 22 - once you stop worrying about hitting HRs, you start hitting HRs.
