You decide that your hitting coaches are there for decoration while the rest of the league uses theirs to put together offensive approaches and do advanced scouting.
You then see the results get worse-and-worse over a 4 year period until this is where you are…it's ultimately the natural conclusion when your bench staff has been as poor as it has been since 2000.
