I think some of you guys are grossly underestimating how poorly a team can perform when the clubhouse doesn't like the manager and feels he is a net negative to the team.

All of the "burn it down" takes are premature…the team is getting the absolute bare minimum out of almost everyone on the roster.

Espada should've honestly been fired last season, but the organization seems to be gunshy about bad PR now (understandable). It was clear that he was in over his head last season and somehow escaped an embarrassing post season exit to get another year.

Seriously, think how deficient a manager would have to be to have seen Cintron/Snitker's work and think "yeah, let's sign those guys up for more years!"

Everyone on this team should be embarrassed that a bunch of AAA players put together a far more competent month of baseball than they have ever once managed, and that a team that started 12-24 made the playoffs last year while they've been given every chance in this one and are about to miss them. But I don't think they can get embarrassed, considering how Groundhog Day the product and the systemic failures are every time out.

Just an awful, forgettable, really laughable effort/group in sum.

Because real big leaguers don't respect him and have no faith in him as a leader. You can fake it with AAA dudes just happy to be in the show, but proven big leaguers know he's charmin soft
