Feels like this is overly cynical.

IF we have any injury luck next year (LOL), then he will play probably 15-20 fewer games and overall be fresher.

That's my hope at least.

Is anyone in this lineup on a "heater" besides how Yordan started his return? Seems like we had Pena for a spell, then Yordan, and absolutely nothing else since the ASB. Discounting the Dodgers series, I think not.

The Mets are in a free fall that's only not as noticeable as the Astros' because they play in a real division where they haven't been anywhere near winning it for a while now.

Would it have mattered? I mean, I'm all for taking every base and stealing every pitch. It's not like the offense will sequence enough weak-ass singles together to score a run.
