make Walker into a pull hitter

a 35-year old player cannot hit 54% of his batted balls to centerfield (and another 16% to right field)

When Walker pulls the ball, it's a 2 hopper to third or short because he just doesn't have the reaction time/swing speed anymore. The to-do list should include dumping him

I'll be in Baltimore on Thursday. Tickets were dirt cheap but I still hope I didn't pay to see another double digit loss

A better thing on that list is to find a way to send him and some money to another team. He's not going to improve.

What they just did for six weeks is a bad stretch (a very long stretch).

What they've done now is completely bottom out. The Mariners will eventually stop playing the Phillies and then the fact that 0 ground was gained every time they've lost will matter, and so will soon getting caught by the wild card teams.

13-17 since the ASB including 7-10 since the trade deadline.

Things are bad right now (don't get me wrong, I'm pissed), but we are still in first.

I'm hopeful they right the ship, but it's rough out there.

So do we have to go through another few weeks of people pointing out how our season hitting stats are fine or can we go ahead and fire the hitting coaches and move on? No reason for our pitching coaches to be so good and let them down by hanging on to hitting coaches responsible for a team that is this bad.

…Texags and literally every level of baseball.

Good then we won't miss them when they are gone. It is literally not possible for our offense to be any worse right now without scoring negative runs. So firing them and bringing in somebody new can't possibly hurt us and can only help.
