Seriously, not asking with any sarcasm, is this a coaching thing? I know catcher performance plays a part, but most of these steals are on the pitchers. Are they coached to focus only on the batters? Are our pitchers so mentally limited that they can only do one thing? Or, do we just have the worst collection of pitchers at holding runners on base?

Curious your thoughts- without the automatic "coaching" response. But that may be all it is.

This game was an exercise in expectation management with the on-paper pitching matchup and the state of the pen. When Altuve couldn't drive anyone home with one out and two in scoring position, it pretty much sealed it unless the Orioles pen collapses.

Still a good 3/4 series win.

The Baltimore bullpen has the 3rd worst ERA in the AL (behind the A's and Angels). The Astros have 6 outs to exploit it.
