By all accounts and from everything I've been told Framber is well liked and that's a part of the reason they've been so patient with him. Being pretty damn good is a part of the reason too obviously - but they like him. When he's "normal" he's a really goofy fun loving guy. But sometimes something just flips.
That said he's been given plenty of chances to figure things out and get the help he needs and they've just about run out of patience.

That MLBN video reminded me of something that hadn't crossed my mind yet. Even though we can say the players "know", in this case, somebody literally knows. At least 1-2 other players (I think Pena and Dubon) had the same pitchcom and heard the call for breaking ball.
So not only did they know that Framber threw the wrong pitch, but the whole "I didn't hear it because it was too loud" doesn't fly since they would have heard it in the same environment.
All the more reason I imagine there were heated words in the locker room. Hopefully the vets took up for Salazar, because by all accounts, he is an outstanding "pitcher's" catcher and hardworking guy who did not deserve that treatment at the hands of a veteran.

We'll trade him straight up for Riley Greene. We will even throw in Framber if they insist.
Isaac Paredes just finished doing some running in right field and is now taking ground balls at Daikin Park. Paredes had follow-up imaging on his hamstring yesterday that, obviously, was favorable.

If he comes back it would kind of nail down the lineup for Joe I would think. If you have Paredes DHing to save wear and tear, you pretty much fix Jose at 2B and Yordan at LF unless one of them gets a day off. Which put Sanchez and Cam platooning in RF and Dubon/whoever in CF. Also means almost no opportunities for Caratini and Diaz to be in the lineup at the same time, which probably means Salazar back to Sugarland.
Isaac Paredes said he will travel to West Palm Beach to continue his rehab at the Astros' spring training facility. He is not 100 percent yet, but is cleared to do all baseball activities, including hitting. Paredes said he is unsure if he will play again this season.
