Two pieces of inner crow I choose to publicly eat this evening.

#1: I thought they were rushing Yordan back out of pressure to look like they were trying to salvage the season and he would suck. Instead he's raised his average 48 points in a week and his slugging percentage 75 points.

#2: It was easy to pretend I didn't miss Correa since Pena was basically Shortstop Jesus in the '22 post-season. But man, I love seeing Carlos in the uni again. Other than Altuve, he is the embodiment of what this stretch of Astros greatness looks like to me in terms of the attitude and the high level of performance in the clutch.
