Seattle has been building with talent and a good farm for some time and I was just hoping we could keep them at bay for another 2 seasons.

Beating Texas 2/3 or even sweeping them is now a must do in order to make the playoffs. You lose the series to them, and the team can go ahead and book their vacations for October.

That is assuming we go about .500 in the other games

Maybe this kid can be our Evan Carter who gets called up, stays hot, and provides a spark to the offense for a team that is struggling down the stretch. Long shot, but one can dream. I'd even be okay with him disappearing next season like Carter.

No doubt. Another 5-6 starts each from Framber and HB might have been beneficial to the team record.

It's ridiculous that 27 starts of hopefully 6 innings is what SPs have been watered down to.

The 6 man rotation has worked great in very recent years past. Injuries and guys coming off injuries (who don't go deep anyway) have made it not work ass well this year.

so then you scrap the 6-man...and go with your best and healthiest five

at this point Hunter Brown will have to pitch in the final series of the year and thus be unavailable for the wildcard series
