I would assume he's the DH from here on out.

Yordan's injury made the Parades decision much easier.

We need the bat, but that means Paredes needs to come through to overcome Altuve's glove (since we'll be forsaking DH'ing the GOAT).

There will be a game where Joe is going to put Dubon at 2B and a decision will be made on DH. I assume it'll happen when Framber starts.

That may become an Altuve planned rest day.

No more days off, time to man up and play through it.

Or an Altuve in LF day. That's probably the easiest fix.

Hey Yordan and Lance, take notes.

Pretty sure we're better off with Lance staying wherever he's at.

Paredes hasn't played since July 19 and he's still 2nd of the team in walks with 49. And Cam Smith the rookie is third. I sure hope Correa has the take sign on this weekend for the rest of these heel swingers.

Here's your bb/k differentials with the grain of salt that basically nobody walks more than they strikeout anymore. The only guy I see in the top 50 with equal numbers is Tucker at 86/86.

Altuve: -52
Paredes: -18
Smith: -90
Walker: -129 (good god)
Pena: -59
Meyers: -35
Yordan: -5
Caratini: -38
Dubon: -15 - oddly good
Diaz: -79
Trammell: -23
Correa: -25

Since July 28 he's only played left field once, and it was in a game he also played 2b according to baseball reference.

I guess they may do it to have Dubon at 2b on a Framber start with the DH taken, but as bad as Altuve is defensively at 2b, he's twice as bad in LF and the team was over the experiment.

Ah yes...If you need some comic relief before the big weekend series starts go read the Ranger cheerleaders crying about them not winning because their players skip team dinners and don't sit around the campfire and sing kum ba yah together.

On a side note, one of the funnier things I have heard recently is team X isn't going to try or team Y is going to purposefully screw over the Astros. Always get a good chuckle out of that mentality. I understand playoff teams are going to try a little harder and manage differently than clubs with no shot, but the idea teams are looking at us to see what we need to happen and performing based off of it is wild talk.

Also, at the end of the day we control our own destiny. Win at least 2/3 against the Mariners and you will have nobody to blame but yourself if you don't end up atop the division.

Most teams aren't that petty. The dodgers ABSOLUTELY are.

LOL. They aren't winning because every single player isn't having a career year. Plus it seems Adolis has throttled back his PED dosage.

Worth it just for the extra 20 pitches he will put on their starter and to make up for Altuve's 3.

The '23 Rangers are the '86 Astros without the '86 Mets in their way. 9-10 guys having career years all at once. Their title is still 100% legit, but an extended period of excellence doesn't seem in the cards.

They already amputated his leg. The boot they are referring to is the Silver Boot. He's been drinking beer out of it since Wednesday night.

Tonight's lineup looks nice. Not angry with rewarding the rookie.

What level of effort are we okay Paredes giving us on the basepaths? 80%? 90%? No one wants to see him aggrevate that hammy.

Is Yordan retroactive to the day after he got hurt? That would have him come off the DL for the Angels series.

70%

No steals, no running through stop signs, no major hustles
