This applies to so many others this year, but he's been asked to do more than he's capable offensively. His numbers are not bad for an 8-9 hole hitter, which is where he should slot. Aside from the obvious injuries, the main reasons our bats have not clicked this year are Walker and Diaz (who also get more blame because the big guy couldn't stay in the lineup).
