I realize the bullpen is pretty thin right now, but this feels like a really long leash. Especially for a guy they are normally really careful with even when he's on his A game.

I'm a red blooded gun toting American and I've actually wondered the same thing. It annoys me that it gets the same hats off and hands on heart treatment that the anthem gets. It's a normal song. Not a bad song by any means. But it's literally no different than playing Lee Greenwood.
Right. It also gets more tv coverage than the Anthem. Just interesting when one grew up without it
