The Rockies have had a record breaking start to the season, and a new low is very much in play.

As of June 2 following a victory over the Marlins, they are 10-50, on pace for 27 wins for the season. At this rate, it seems the White Sox year of shame will stand for only a single season.

They are scoring 3.17 runs per game, and giving up 6.22. They aren't just losing every game, they are getting whipped.

The fans have been chanting "sell the team" at games for the last month.

The record stands at 41-121, for now.

I've been to a few games this season and they are really bad. It's honestly like a AAA club. I don't know if they have anyone outside of maybe Goodman and Tovar that would start on any other team.

The battered Aggie side of me though says when the Astros come up the Rockies will take like 2 out of 3.

The crazy part about the Rockies is it's always about half full at least, and most of the people there are from the opposing team. The owner is terrible but I don't see things changing too much as long as he's making the money he is on the team and the surrounding area.

Is this all it took to turn them around?

According to Elias, It was the worst record by a team entering their first series sweep of the season since 1900, using a minimum of 30 decisions prior to the first game of a series. Coincidentally, the previous worst mark in that span actually belonged to the Marlins, who were 6-24 (.200) in 2024 prior to sweeping the Rockies (April 30-May 2, 2024).
