Morocco is probably one of the hottest destinations right now (not talking temperature).

How long are you planning to be there?

My Top Recommendations:
- Marrakech & Casablanca
- Fes
- Chefchaouen
- Essaouira
- Overnight in the Sahara is a must

If you have a lot of time, doing some desert excursions or time in the Atlas Mountains is a common adder to time in the cities.

Happy to answer any questions or help y'all put it together if you're looking for assistance.

I have a couple partners there who can help put together a full touring itinerary with private guides, escorts, etc.

Hi - I had a fantastic trip to Morocco in 2023 April. Planet Morocco LLC (owned by a friend in St. Louis) scheduled all the excursions, tours, hotels/riad, vehicle with a private guide, etc. Phillip (@ Planet Morocco) customized the trip based on what we liked and also has great connections within the country. I highly recommend them.

The guide/driver picked us up from the airport and he was great throughout the trip:
- showed us around Rabat's medina
- took us to the Roman ruins in Volubilis
- visited Fes where they scheduled a private tour of the 'behind the scenes artisans' - no purchase commitments or pressure, visit to the ancient tombs, and to the tanning areas
- Sahara visit where we did four-wheelers on the dunes, camel ride, sand boarding, and an overnight stay in a Bivouac
- Visit to Atlas Studios (they were filming Gladiator 2)
- Drive through the route of 1000 Kasbahs where we visited Ait Ben Hadou and an old palace
- Marrakech tour of the Soukhs (with our guide who kept the hawkers away), Bahia palace and El Badi palace, as well as the Roman tombs. They also scheduled a Moroccan cooking class.
- They also gave us fine dining recommendations and scheduled reservations throughout the cities we visited.

I've visiting Marrakesh last October. Amazing experience. My husband and I stayed at a ryad, and I highly recommend this kind of accommodation. You can probably do Marrakesh in 3+ days (including an Atlas Mountains tour and camel ride). Marrakesh was as exotic and interested as a I hoped, and the food and shopping were excellent. Great trip.
