Long time lurker, first time poster. I am in the process of considering a career move which would take me to New Orleans. Never having lived outside of Texas, I was hoping to get some insight in to what life is like across the Sabine River.

Any information would be helpful, I am trying to get as much information as I can before I have to make the decision or not.

Well it has been almost a year since this post. This is the first time I am seeing it. Had I seen your post originally, I would have provided you some information. My bad for not lurking better. Did you end up making the move here?

Finally settled in and through the move process. It's been great, no regrets so far.

Outstanding! I moved here in 2022. I live in mid-city. Glad you made the move! I have yet to go to a game watch, but its on the list this year.

Where do they host the game watches over here?

I want to say it's a place called Bruno's. I haven't reached out to the New Orleans club, but they seem pretty active for the season and for Mardi Gras and Muster.

I have also seen Urban South Brewery listed so I don't know yet, but here is the official email. I have emailed them as well. I'll post if they answer.
