I'm looking to diversify my crypto holdings. My main holdings in terms of dollar value percentage are the following.

82% bitcoin
11% cardano
7% ethereum

Anything else I should strongly think about getting into right now?

50% BTC
50% MSTR

So 100% BTC

CRV has been performing well, although I can't tell you much about it.

I'm not talking about things like dogecoin. Some of the alt coins have promise with the decentralized internet functions they provide IMO.

Go to tradingview and pull up ETHBTC and look at 1Y, 3Y, 5Y charts. It's 100% cooked. There is no institutional or nation state interest in any ****coin and there never will be. 2017 and 2021 were fun but it's time to grow up.

They will. Bitcoin is a gateway drug. And thr Bitcoin community has stifled any development on the bitcoin blockchain. So dominos will eventually fall into alts.

Disagree very much, money that used to flow to alts now goes to BTC products like ETFs, futures, bitcoin treasury companies, and various derivatives of all of those. There are plenty of outlets for degenerates to gamble on that are tied to BTC now. There will never be another altseason.

It's just like gambling on stocks of new companies. Not everyone thought amazon would get so big. Some of these altcoins like cardano or solana could be the backbone of decentralized banking and other related things. Just trying to understand which altcoins show the most future promise.

No coiners and btc maxis share the same logical flaw. That their system is best and never will another compete with it.

What's the deal with MSTR?

" Instead of investing in Bitcoin via a stock that's trading at an inflated level of 3 times its net asset value -- which is what you'd be doing if you bought MicroStrategy -- take direct exposure to the cryptocurrency instead. Directly owning Bitcoin means your returns will have a one-to-one correlation with the crypto. A bet on MicroStrategy now is a bet on Saylor managing these Bitcoin assets for you while he's diluting shareholders and taking on mountains of debt. That proposition is a lot more risky."

Performance since MSTR started buying BTC on 8/10/2020

Not interested in this kind of rhetoric at all, do what you like and I wish you the best. Just trying to share some hard earned wisdom from many years of watching this all play out.

I've been in it a very long time too. There's billions/trillions in alts. Acting like they're isn't isn't keeping it real.

Owing MSTR and selling covered calls has worked out very well. It's not right for everyone.

This thread is about holding crypto, not active trading. MSTR looks good now, but it could all come crashing down if Michael Saylor mismanages all those insane loans he's taking out to buy bitcoin.

Expected due to price of BTC at the snapshot and new FASB rules, that's why it's holding steady aftermarket. The earnings call was another banger, highly recommend watching for folks who don't yet understand what's going on.
