well until congress gets involved this will be the norm. Nothing the NCAA tries to do will survive the onslaught of lawsuits and all it takes is 1 judge to overrule the ncaa

If you look at the number of kids that have been on the A&M roster in the last 4 years that have transferred more than once, is that a coaching problem or a kid problem? Off the top of my head I think the number is around 7.

you first have to have money to buy the player, then even more money to buy more players, then you have to have a system these mercenaries are will to play in, then you have to have group of mercenaries that want to play with each other.

Frankly this is sport that hemorrhages money, i don't see schools wanting to play the game it takes to get players. I see this sport imploding at this rate. Or it'll just be the 3 or 4 teams will to go all in on what it takes to build a roster.

The old reality of a having a bunch of transfer out meaning there is some kind of problem in your program is gone. Well at least for the old reasons. Now, the problem is likely just money - do you have as much money as they want and are you willing to give it to them.

At this point, unless you think that freshman will be an all American, i wouldn't even bother HS recruiting.

They'll be gone most likely anyway after year 1.

I posted this on premium, we know we're not competing money wise with the big dogs.

Joni should just sit out this round then go lowball the talent that doesn't get more money and build from there

I'm pretty sure that's all she's doing as it is. Why spend ANY money at all? We aren't going to fair any better in season 5 than we have the last 4 seasons. I'm just curious why we even continue with WBB at this point. We've shown no willingness to play the game financially; we don't hold the coach accountable for poor results....what. is. the. point? Just drop WBB and spend that money on the sports that are killing it. Make them that much stronger.
