your best QB ever had a somewhat normal upbringing. Ag's best QB ever had loose ties to the dixie mafia. Our best QB ever had a dad in jail and a crkhead mom.

we have precedent for arch manning and his name chris simms who was decent, but 5hi+ the bed in big games and was...overrated. and sark knows it. you can't groom a certain kind of greatness.

I honestly feel bad for Manning. Anything less than a national title and a heisman will be considered a failure. He should have gone to a school that develops players.

I don't feel bad for Arch. Now he has to deal with a failing. I hope he overcomes it. Manning and Sark were literally the weak links on a great Longhorn team today who beat Ohio State statistically. Our D was solid.

Sark called some dumb plays and Manning couldn't make his throws. That's why we lost. We had some stupid penalties, but we also had some good spots/calls go our way.

Who thought hyping a 2A Louisiana QB, with 95 career passing attempts, for the Heisman was a good idea?
