I am an Aggie, but that name is classless. The young man was wheeled out after a dirty hit. You guys need to act like you've been there before. Bunch of stupid kids.

It wasn't a dirty hit, it was a hit that is part of football. See, you only get to wear the special "hands off" jersey in practice. Once game time rolls around, you have to be able to take your knocks. Just ask our QB. And oh by the way, I have been there before, as a walk on in '92 and '93!

Soup - there was nothing dirty about that hit - it was Bennett's hit - gees were you even watching? Totally clean and totally legal - QB out of the pocket got drilled - happens all the time.

t-rex - take some English writing classes, geez. Colt was walking off the field toward the sidelines with his chinstrap off. It was uncalled for.
Cart McOff (the field) and be done with it.
I would expect nothing less from a bunch of smalltown rednecks who don't know how to deal with a win.
Soup, I think you are confusing which hit ALL of us are referring to. He was carted off after Bennett's hit not Heard's. Bennett's hit was clean and those type of hits go on every week in college football.

Heard pushed McCoy down, was ejected, but McCoy came back in to play.
Then Bennett knocked the snot outta him, and McCoy had to be carted off.

No, that was the play before. Did you watch the game? The play that took him out was on a clean hit as he released the ball.

soup, cart got taken off the field after bennetts perfectly legal hit. not heards hit.
also, he is the first football player in the history of the universe to be immobilized and taken off the field in a cart for a pinched nerve.

You're talking about a different hit here. And plus had Dodge run the interception back instead of out then McCoy could have tackled him (well, theoretically he could have). Totally McCoy's fault for taking his helmet off during the play. Heard's only fault is the timing of his tackle.
The reason he was carted off was probably because of numbness or tingling in the neck/arm. It's just a precaution in case there was damage to the spine. Since there is not, I think that name is hilarious.
