Oh good, I need some disappointment in my life next month
Rejection application submitted. I might go play the Powerball since I have a better chance of winning.

Looks like inflation has finally hit Augusta. Prices for Monday/Tuesday up to $125, Wednesday $150 and tournament days $160.
This year they added a direct link from the Masters application to the ANWA, so you can apply to both in the same sitting.
I'm ready to be hurt again, but hoping lightning can strike twice, I'm ready to go back.
Since I won this year I'm sure I'm now doomed for a minimum of 10 years in masters purgatory
It's been 10 years since I won so you may be right.
I entered, even though my daughter's birthday is that weekend. She'll understand, right? Let's get real, it won't matter anyways.
I'm just glad some of you have won. I'll take the glimmer of hope, still knowing it will get stamped out.

I just applied for the first time. From the majority of stories here, I am prepared for disappointment.

Been rejected the last 17 years, let's go for 18. Not complaining, I've gotten to go with work a few times, but would be nice to actually win the lottery so I could go with who I choose...

I will say - I've said it before on here - getting that email is like peeling back the wrapper and seeing a golden ticket peek out. I reread that email a dozen times. Hope to get to do that again!

My plan is to go to 50. 38 now. Once i hit 50 I'll buy whatever it takes on the secondary market to have the best masters experience ever but I'll keep trying the simple way until then.
I've had a couple clients mention it to me and one try and out and out say it would happen but nothing to fruition yet. I would also gladly accept the invite that way of course.

That was my plan as well but am 55 now. Changed it to 60. But hope to win before then.

First year applying. I went to website on May 30 to check dates and see if I was set up correctly for when ticket application opens. Somehow I found myself with the Ticket Application complete. I have the email as well confirming. I'm wondering how I got in early and if it will help or hurt my chances. Anyone else experience this?
Can you resell lottery tickets on secondary market or give to friends if you win and can't go?
Yes. Just hope your buyer/friends don't make a jackass of themselves while there and get you blackballed from winning ever again. Also don't make it easy on them to bust you for reselling by posting pics of your tickets online. They technically don't want scalping, but it's common. Every once in a while they find a way to crack down and give it some publicity to put fear into folks
I won practice round tickets last year. I had to show the email to my wife to verify if what I was reading was right.
Last year seemed like there were a good handful on the board that won. More than usual for sure.

This year the lottery odds are even worse because the Monday practice round from this past Masters got rained out. All those people get automatic tickets next year, if they want them.

Thought I saw a stat floating around recently that its less than 1/100 chance to win. Doesn't stop me from applying, especially seeing how many of our brethren here on the forum have won in the past. If I get that "golden ticket" email I don't care what day it is, I am not selling or giving them away, my a** will be there.

A couple of years back several of us on here (me included) drew tickets. It was seriously like 6 or more from the ticket thread who went. I had Tuesday practice round tickets which were great. Was able to take lots of pictures and enjoy walking all over the grounds.AgShaun00 said:

I don't know how they pull winners but it wouldn't shock me if they chose different regions / zip codes of the US to pick more winners from each year and last year was ours.
I have no proof, but I don't think requested ticket quantity makes much of a difference. I've maxed out my requests when I've gone in the past.
