I'm a glutton for punishment, I signed up again. That little girl with the message in the bottle had better odds.

Thought I saw a stat floating around recently that its less than 1/100 chance to win. Doesn't stop me from applying, especially seeing how many of our brethren here on the forum have won in the past. If I get that "golden ticket" email I don't care what day it is, I am not selling or giving them away, my a** will be there.

I have often wondered how ticket quantity plays into your odds, if at all. I always just ask for two per day.

IMO ... if you want to go, GO!!

I'd wager most spend $1500 on something else that can be sacrificed just once over time.

IMO, if we win, you should 100% have to attend or forfeit your tickets. SO many people use this as a money making opportunity versus a chance to attend.

Your lottery winning badge should have the name of the winner on it and show ID to enter.

I was able to attend last year (through a friend) so I think my changes of wining have increased this year.

Mine from 2024 did not have my name on them. They have an identification number, but I don't remember being checked for that. My brother and his wife accompanied us to use all four tickets. We did not end up going through the same line at check-in, and they got in with no issue. Nowhere did I have to identify them as the 2 people using the tickets, not when I purchased them, or at the gates.

I know, I think the Masters should do that to stop some from just entering to win with no intentions on going.

I'll keep beating the drum that ANGC should just make you pay up front for all the tickets you request, or at least pay some kind of deposit. That would cut down on a lot of people just treating it like a lottery ticket.

Saw that too. But the Masters never releases this info so I have no idea where they get these numbers from. It's, at best, a guess.

Considering how much they are worth in the resell market, I'd be a little surprised if it's only 2 million that sign up. Particularly if they accept applications worldwide (no idea on this).

I won it in 2023 and went to the Tuesday practice round in 2024. I nearly fell out of my chair when I read the email.
I've won twice! 2010 & 2017, so it can happen.

Anybody having issues with the site saying your address is already in use. My billing address is linked to a property I own in Texas and it says it is already in use. However we just bought a new construction home in Charleston and it is coming up already in use there too.

You have to call in and prove ownership. If it's already linked to another account, you can't register using it.

And I am not talking about The Masters on CBS

I hope that someone here gets good news soon.

I'm up for my 19th year of rejection. I'm also the unluckiest person you've ever encountered, so I apply each year simply because a part of my brain is broken and craves disappointment.

I think I'll still apply for next year to make it an even 20 years of the odds kicking me down the stairs, and then I'll step away.
...take it easy on me, I'm a normal horn

Not sure how many years I've been applying..but I did get selected in 2023 so it can happen.

Monday was a washout this year and those folks are being offered the opportunity to return this year, so bid think our chances are even slimmer for next year.
