I'm a glutton for punishment, I signed up again. That little girl with the message in the bottle had better odds.

Thought I saw a stat floating around recently that its less than 1/100 chance to win. Doesn't stop me from applying, especially seeing how many of our brethren here on the forum have won in the past. If I get that "golden ticket" email I don't care what day it is, I am not selling or giving them away, my a** will be there.
I have often wondered how ticket quantity plays into your odds, if at all. I always just ask for two per day.
With about 2 million applicants for 2026 Masters tickets and based on attendance figures and available tickets…

Your odds of winning are roughly 1 in 182, or moneyline odds of +18000.
Good news is that’s still better odds than my Browns winning the Super Bowl at +25000.

does anyone know of anyone to actually win the lottery?
IMO, if we win, you should 100% have to attend or forfeit your tickets. SO many people use this as a money making opportunity versus a chance to attend.aginlakeway said:
IMO ... if you want to go, GO!!
I'd wager most spend $1500 on something else that can be sacrificed just once over time.
Mine from 2024 did not have my name on them. They have an identification number, but I don't remember being checked for that. My brother and his wife accompanied us to use all four tickets. We did not end up going through the same line at check-in, and they got in with no issue. Nowhere did I have to identify them as the 2 people using the tickets, not when I purchased them, or at the gates.TXAGGIES said:IMO, if we win, you should 100% have to attend or forfeit your tickets. Your lottery winning badge should have the name of the winner on it and show ID to enter.
I was able to attend last year (through a friend) so I think my changes of wining have increased this year.
I know, I think the Masters should do that to stop some from just entering to win with no intentions on going.rally-cap said:Mine from 2024 did not have my name on them. I've won twice! 2010 & 2017, so it can happen.rally-cap said:I won it in 2023 and went to the Tuesday practice round in 2024. I nearly fell out of my chair when I read the email.AgShaun00 said:

You have to call in and prove ownership. If it's already linked to another account, you can't register using it.uujm said:
Anybody having issues with the site saying your address is already in use. My billing address is linked to a property I own in Texas and it says it is already in use. However we just bought a new construction home in Charleston and it is coming up already in use there too.
