What to do with old clubs?

I recently upgraded to actual modern clubs and have two sets of irons and a mismatched set of woods. I hate dealing with ebay, Facebook marketplace etc. so looking for anyone who could use them. If I strike out here, I'll just donate them somewhere.

- Titleist DCI 962 irons. 3-S, and the shaft of the 6-iron broke mid swing on me. Whole set probably needs new shafts and definitely grips

- Titleist 975D Driver 10.5 in generally decent shape

- Hogan Medallion 3, 5, and 7 woods. Never used them, as they just landed in my bag via hand me down.

The above will give someone a full bag to get going, but unfortunately they're not great for beginners.

Also have Hogan Apex 2-W. Grips are rotted to hell, and the shafts are original. Best I can tell, these are 1973's so there may be some collectors value on them. These I may wade into the ebay hellscape for.

Happy to send or post pics to anyone who is interested, and I'm in North Dallas for pickup.

You could trade them in for some credit at 2ndswing or donate to local high school team maybe.

I checked 2nd Swing online, and I could get maybe $20 for the Titleist set. For that little, I'd just as soon donate

Save a couple of them you have hit well in the past. New tech is great, but if they've been good before, then no reason they cannot still be good for when you are searching for an "answer" to a current issue. Sell the rest.
"Green" is the new RED.

Trade them for a couple $2 bills at the scrap metal place.

I like the idea of donating them to your nearby high school or perhaps a school is a less wealthy area.

Good idea on First Tee, but they only accept clubs less than ten years old. Kind of surprising given their mission, but oh well.

Emailed my local high school, and if they're not interested, it's off to Goodwill I suppose

I put a bag of clubs on the curb two weeks ago. They were gone in an hour. A lady stopped by and asked if she could have them for her son. I was glad to get rid of them.

(I think there was a 975D in the bag, too.)
