There's an open 2-man scramble at Pebble Creek CC in College Station next weekend, 8/2-3. There are 10 team spots remaining as of this morning. Tournament pays out plus Calcutta and optional practice round and skins game on Friday.

60+ teams registered and the course is as good as I've seen it this time of year. Will be a great tourney!

That's a good question. Our club takes the lowest handicap for each player in the last 12 months and then gives 75% of that. Not perfect but helps eliminate a lot of fluff.
This fundraiser is giving proceeds to all 4 CSISD golf programs(AMCHS AND CSHS boys + girls teams). So, on behalf of the Consol programs I (AMCHS girls' coach) would like to thank all of you who have already signed up and encourage anyone currently on the fence to fill in the last few slots! Both boy's programs are strong contenders for district(which means they are strong contenders for regionals - we're in 1 of the strongest districts in the state with Lake Creek and Montgomery). Our girls programs are both moving in that direction as well.
As for the sandbagger question, the flyer does state each player has to have an active GHIN handicap. I would say, that if GHIN requirement, paired with the 2 x 2man pairings doesn't suffice (we all know sandbaggers are everywhere), find solace in that your entry fee donation will go to funding equipment/apparel/entry fee costs for our growing golf programs!

In our Men's league 2-man scrambles you get 35% of the A players handicap and 15% of the B players handicap.
Will be the same for this tournament, paying out 1st gross and top 2 net. Championship flight will be top 3 gross.
