Ended up needing some extra power over that ways anyways, so now my "AC the Tackroom" task on the honey do has turned into a sub panel+minisplit. Overkill? Absolutely. $150 got multiplied by about 30....
same....keep my garage at 75-76 year round now....love after I cut the grass or clean my pool that I can just go into my garage and cool off and hang out and watch espn....while my wife thinks I'm still working outdoors LOL! You'll love the mini split once it's up and running. Quiet and the dehumidifying aspect of it should keep things in better shape. We put one in the garage and it's been awesome.
