Does anyone here know of a skilled carpenter in the corpus region that could handle some detailed inside work? My wife and I have a couple of projects we'd like to tackle in the house and I'd prefer to hire someone else instead of staring at my own mistakes for the next 30 years.

Some of the items to tackle:

1) Replace existing handrails on stairs with more ornate handrail. Also replace carpet steps with wooden steps.

2) Build a large bookshelf on one wall in our living room. Something similar to the attached image.

Any advice is appreciated!
